At Unico Ristorante Italiano, every recipe has a story. It is the shared passion of husband-and-wife team Giuseppe Manco and Eleonora Calvacchi, who bring the flavors, traditions, and hospitality of Naples, Italy to the community of Estero.

Meet Chef Giuseppe Manco
At the heart of Unico is Chef Giuseppe Manco, an award-winning chef and pizzaiolo from Naples, Italy. Together with his wife, Eleonora Calvacchi, Giuseppe brings the soul of authentic Italian cuisine to Estero.

Chef Giuseppe’s culinary career has earned international recognition, including awards from the Las Vegas Pizza World Championship for Best Neapolitan Pizza in 2014, Best Roman Style Pizza in 2017, and 3rd Place in the world for Neapolitan Pizza in 2023. During his time in New York City, he worked alongside celebrity chef and Iron Chef judge Donatella Arpaia and received recognition from respected publications including New York Magazine, The New York Times, Forbes, Gambero Rosso, Corriere della Sera, and La Repubblica.

His cooking is deeply personal: authentic recipes, excellent ingredients, and the belief that great food should make every guest feel welcome. At Unico, Giuseppe shares the flavors, warmth, and traditions of Southern Italy through a dining experience that is truly one of a kind.
